The new Barca signing, Zlatan Ibrahimovic will play against Manchester City in The Joan Gamper Trophy tomorrow as his debut game for the Catalan club. Marca reports that 70,000 tickets have already been sold for Wednesday night's game and a near-capacity crowd is expected.

The Swedish striker is currently recovering from a fractured metacarpal in his left hand. The injury, sustained while playing for Inter in pre-season, has ruled him out of all Barca's pre-season fixtures to date, but the 27-year-old striker is set to play against City after making a full recovery.

The Joan Gamper Trophy is an annual pre-season game hosted by Barcelona in honour of the club's founding member, former player and one-time president.
